End of Watch Memorial Ruck
05/17/2018 - 05/19/2018
All Day ET
One name. One pound. One mile.
In 2017, we lost 134 officers in the line of duty across the United States.
Every time an officer is lost, it takes a toll on the friends, families, and law enforcement community as a whole. In an effort to show support for the Thin Blue Line we will set out on a ruck march in memory of those officers down. To show that we are willing to help carry this burden, a group of ruckers will set out carrying one pound of weight per officer for one mile per officer down.
This event will span the whole of Santa Rosa County, Florida, stretching from the towering pines in Blackwater State Forest, through historical downtown Milton to the white sand beaches of Navarre. These individuals will ruck day and night for roughly 55 hours until the full 134 miles are completed.
We are currently accepting registration for ruckers while inviting sponsors and individuals interested in participating or volunteering to join us.
It is our goal to show that we all help carry the load.
All funds raised go to the First Judicial Circuit Law Enforcement Association.
